Salesforce unveiled a $63B+ FY2030 revenue target and a $25B accelerated share repurchase at its Dreamforce Investor Day, with 190% of free cash flow returned in FY27.

Salesforce, Inc. (NYSE: CRM) laid out an ambitious multi-year financial framework at its Dreamforce 2026 Investor Day on September 16, targeting revenue of $63 billion or more by fiscal year 2030 and committing to return 190% of free cash flow to shareholders in FY27. The company disclosed a $25 billion accelerated share repurchase, which it described as the largest ASR in its history, with an expected average share price of $182 and at least a 14% expected reduction in share count. Shares fell -3.07% on Thursday, September 17, while the S&P 500 gained 1.13%.

Dreamforce 2026 Investor Day: Key Targets

  • FY2030 revenue target: $63 billion or more, implying an 11%-plus compound annual growth rate from FY26 to FY30, including the impact of Informatica and additional announced acquisitions.
  • FY27 revenue guidance (high end): $46.4 billion, up from $41.5 billion in FY26; non-GAAP operating margin guidance of 34.3% for FY27.
  • Free cash flow trajectory: $14.4 billion in FY26, up from $5.3 billion in FY22, with FY27 guidance pointing toward a 3x increase since FY22.
  • Non-GAAP operating margin expansion: 1,560 basis points since FY22, rising from 18.7% in FY22 to the 34.3% FY27 guided figure.
  • $25 billion ASR: The company cited an over 40% expected return on invested capital from the repurchase, based on CRM's closing price as of August 31, 2026.

Why It Matters

The $63 billion FY2030 target is structured around what Salesforce calls the "Agentic Enterprise" opportunity, anchored in its Agentforce platform. The company presented customer data showing average recurring revenue uplifts of 1.5x-2x for customers that have adopted Agentforce in targeted deployments, and 3x-4x or more for customers deploying Agentforce across their full operations. Among its top 100 growth customers by absolute annual recurring revenue increase, AI showed up in more than 80% of expansion stories.

Salesforce also disclosed that nine of the top ten Forbes AI companies by valuation run on its platform, and that 100% of those leading AI firms use Slack. The company cited Slackbot users growing over 150% quarter-over-quarter, with Slack revenue described as re-accelerating. Annual order value figures shared at the event placed the Sales cloud at $9 billion, Service at $10 billion, and Data 360 at $1 billion, all as of Q2 FY27.

The capital allocation framework includes a responsible M&A strategy with recent focus on data, AI accelerators, and AI Labs acquisitions. The company highlighted $15 billion or more in research and development investments since FY24 and $60 billion or more in cumulative shareholder returns to date.

Wall Street View

Wall Street's posture on CRM entering the event was broadly constructive. As of September 1, 2026, the analyst consensus stood at 30 Buy ratings and 14 Strong Buy ratings, against 13 Hold and 2 Sell or Strong Sell recommendations. The Dreamforce announcements provided specific targets that analysts had been anticipating, particularly the FY2030 revenue figure, which CNBC noted exceeded prior estimates.

Investor Takeaway

The $63 billion FY2030 revenue target, paired with a $25 billion ASR and a non-GAAP operating margin framework tracking toward 34.3% in FY27, gives investors a concrete multi-year financial roadmap grounded in confirmed press release figures. The more consequential signal for long-term holders may be the ARR uplift data from the Agentforce cohort: if the 3x-4x ARR expansion pattern documented among early full-deployment customers proves repeatable at scale, the FY2030 target could reflect conservative rather than aspirational math.
